Job summary

National Cancer Centre of Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Research Officer to support and conduct research within the Centre for Molecular Research. You will plan, execute, and analyze experiments, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to scientific outputs to meet project objectives.

The role requires preparing data, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, and collaborating with PI, researchers, and interns while maintaining high research standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Experience in laboratory research (molecular cancer biology, cell culture, flow cytometry, or animal models).
• Publication records in biomedical journals.

Responsibilities

• Research Execution: Conduct experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, and cancer biology under supervision.
• Data Management & Reporting: Collect and analyze data to support project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety: Adhere to ethical, biosafety, and institutional guidelines.
• Collaboration & Support: Work with PI and team; guide junior staff or interns.
• Administration: Assist lab admin, including procurement and equipment maintenance.
