Job summary

Singapore University of Technology and Design is hiring to lead the Office of Research’s grant and project management functions. Qualifications

• Bachelor in a scientific/technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of grant and/or project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s R&D funding landscape (MOE, NRF, A*STAR).
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to autonomously drive key work.
• Work well independently and in a team.
• Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support to faculty for pre- and post-award management and advise on institutional processes/policies and funding agencies’ requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to advance the University’s research agenda.
• Manage research grant processes to ensure compliance with institutional policies and funding agencies’ guidelines.
• Maintain governance, documentation and process controls to support auditability and good grant management stewardship.
• Manage day-to-day grants system activities, coordinate system updates across stakeholders, deliver research reporting and analytics, and support workflow standardisation and automation within grant administration.
• Provide secretariat support for meetings organised by the Office of Research where required.
