Job summary

NTU Singapore invites applications for a Research Fellow in Multi-UAVs Path Planning within the MAE department. The role is a full-time appointment funded for about one year.

The candidate will join a state-of-the-art group to advance path planning, motion planning, and autonomous navigation for UAV systems in challenging environments. The successful applicant will implement algorithms in Gazebo/Unity3D, validate them in simulation and real-world tests, and contribute to cutting-edge robotics

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields with a focus on Path Planning, Multi-Robot Systems, or Autonomous Navigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced path planning, search, and exploration algorithms for multi-UAV systems in unknown 3D environments.
• Design efficient obstacle avoidance strategies to ensure collision-free navigation in dense settings.
• Implement and validate algorithms in both virtual and real-world scenarios to optimize performance in indoor and outdoor environments.
