The Centre for Urban Solutions is to provide leadership in developing innovative solutions and sustainable technologies for space creation and urban infrastructure development.

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at Nanyang Technological University is a leading school for Sustainable Built Environment. It has over 50 faculty members and more than 1,500 students and is rapidly expanding its range of education and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To be involved in a research project related to marine geophysics and data analytics;

  • Key responsibilities include development of marine geophysical survey and machine learning algorithms;

Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor degree in geophysics or equivalent and A PhD degree in geophysics / geomechanics or equivalent from a recognized university;

  • Able to work independently and collaborate with team members;

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders

  • Working or research experience in geophysics of at least 1 year is desirable.
