Qualifications

• PhD in microbiology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or environmental engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience in microbiology and molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with antimicrobial resistance, microbial genetics or genomics preferred.
• Bioinformatics skills, including genomic/metagenomic data analysis, a plus.
• Proficiency in R, Python, Linux/Unix and sequence-analysis tools is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct molecular microbiology and biotechnology experiments related to AMR.
• Perform cultivation, molecular biology, and antimicrobial susceptibility analyses.
• Analyze experimental results and omics datasets where applicable.
• Integrate lab and computational findings and contribute to manuscripts and reports.
• Collaborate with project members and mentor students.
