Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Associate in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology to support laboratory operations and scientific development. The role reports to the Principal Investigator and collaborates with research staff to advance the project on neutrophil-guided immune reprogramming in acute infection and immune resolution.

Qualifications

Master's degree in life sciences, immunology, microbiology, or related field.
Hands-on lab research experience including cell culture, molecular biology, flow cytometry, imaging, or animal work.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance research with safety, administration and procurement.

Responsibilities

Conduct and support experimental work in neutrophil biology, inflammation, infection, and immune regulation.
Maintain accurate records, analyze data, troubleshoot protocols, and interpret results.
Prepare figures, manuscripts, presentations, and internal documentation.
Coordinate lab safety, SOPs, risk assessments, and training records.
Support procurement, quotations, purchase orders, and vendor liaison.
