Qualifications

• PhD in Optical Engineering, Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in optical imaging, structured-light 3D reconstruction, and computational imaging.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB and C++.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on structured-light 3D imaging, optical encoding, computational imaging and AI-assisted reconstruction
• Design, build and calibrate optical imaging and 3D sensing systems
• Develop algorithms for image processing, stereo matching and point-cloud reconstruction
• Perform simulations, experiments, data acquisition and statistical analysis
• Prepare research manuscripts, technical reports and project deliverables
• Support project management, collaboration and laboratory safety
