Job summary

Singapore Management University invites applications for a Research Engineer within the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS). Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS/IT/IS with focus on software development.
• Experience in AI Safety research.
• Proficiency in programming languages.
• Familiarity with IaC and cloud deployments.
• Publications in top AI/SE conferences.
• Experience with agent design is preferred.
• Ability to work in a small, agile academic research team.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and with the team.

Responsibilities

• This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
• Investigating the AI components in software ecosystems.
• Understanding supply chain of these AI components.
• Identifying trustworthy issues in production-level AI-based software.
