Job summary

NTU's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering invites a Research Associate to lead independent research in next-generation electrochemical energy systems, focusing on solid-state batteries and interfacial chemistry. You will collaborate across materials science, electrochemistry, and mechanics, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.

Responsibilities include conducting advanced synthesis and testing, designing novel materials, and contributing to grant proposals.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in materials synthesis and electrochemical testing.
  • Proven publication record in high-impact journals.
  • Strong written and oral communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced research on solid-state and high-energy batteries.
  • Develop materials for electronic devices and energy systems.
  • Design electrochemical and mechanical characterizations.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners on joint projects.
  • Prepare manuscripts and present at conferences.
  • Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in the lab.
