Job summary

National University of Singapore invites a Research Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering to conduct simulation and experimental research on solid-state batteries. The successful candidate will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on related research activities.

They may also participate in the design and development of battery electrodes and solid electrolytes, contributing to advancing understanding and performance of next-generation

Qualifications

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience or strong interest in rechargeable battery research, particularly sodium or other metal‑ion batteries.
• Knowledge of battery with solid electrolytes.
• Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate with a team.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and scientific writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulation and experimental research on solid state battery systems.
• Work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on related research.
