The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clinicians, analysts, operational teams, and other stakeholders to design and deliver rigorous research and evaluation projects. The role will contribute to evidence generation, service improvement, implementation, and policy decisions related to home-first healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage health services, implementation, and evaluation research projects across the ANCHOR portfolio.
  • Develop study protocols, research questions, analysis plans, data collection instruments, and evaluation frameworks using appropriate quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches.
  • Plan and oversee data collection, which may include surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, observations, routine clinical or operational data, and other relevant sources.
  • Manage, clean, analyse, integrate, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data using suitable analytical methods and software.
  • Conduct literature reviews, evidence syntheses, programme evaluations, and implementation analyses to address research and service needs.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable insights for research reports, manuscripts, policy briefs, posters, presentations, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure research activities comply with ethics requirements, approved protocols, data management standards, and institutional policies.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, budgets where applicable, documentation, risks, approvals, and deliverables to support timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary research teams and engage clinicians, operational partners, patients, caregivers, policymakers, and other stakeholders throughout the research lifecycle.
  • Support grant applications and facilitate dissemination by preparing manuscripts for publication and presenting findings at internal meetings and conferences.
Requirements:
  • Master's or PhD in Public Health, Health Services Research, Implementation Science, or a related field.
  • Strong training or hands-on experience in quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research and programme evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and conduct research independently, select appropriate analytical approaches, and interpret complex findings.
  • Experience with relevant analytical software, such as R, Stata, SPSS, NVivo, or equivalent tools, would be an advantage.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning and coordinating timelines, stakeholders, documentation, risks, approvals, and research deliverables.
  • Strong scientific writing, communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, and to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Experience in public healthcare, health services research, implementation science, programme evaluation, or evaluation of complex interventions would be advantageous.
  • Evidence of academic publications, research reports, policy briefs, or grant-writing experience would be an advantage.
