Job summary

CITIC Securities International seeks a Research Associate to support the research function in our Singapore office. You will coordinate research activities and collaborate with Senior Analysts on projects and client requests, including report writing, financial modelling, data maintenance, and fundamental company research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in Business related discipline, preferably with Finance and/or Accounting major.
• Sound understanding of financial modelling.
• Excellent Problem solving and analytical Skills.
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence, writing research reports and condensing research ideas.
• Collect data and compile answers for clients requests.
• Maintain databases of economic and industry data.
• Assist in fundamental research on companies.
• Accompany clients on visits; produce notes on all visits.
• Maintain sound working relationships with Corporates, Clients, the Government, and industry organizations.

Job description

The Research Associate is responsible for providing support to the research function in the office. The incumbent is primarily responsible for coordinating research activities and working with Senior Analysts on research projects and client Requests. The research activities include report writing, financial modelling, maintaining multiple data bases and fundamental research on companies.

The Research Associate should view their role as an integral part of the team's success. Effective teamwork contributors; actively generate ideas for the teams development; communicate issues that require action; support each other and ask for help when needed.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Analysts on specific research projects

• Collect data and compile answers for clients requests
• Maintain databases of economic and industry specific data
• Assist in fundamental research on companies
• Accompany clients on visits; produce notes on all visits
• Maintain sound working relationships with Corporates, Clients, the Government, and industry organizations

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in Business related discipline, preferably with Finance and/or Accounting major
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Research Associate or related experience in large Accountancy firm is an added advantage
