Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Associate in Structured Finance to conduct industry and company research, perform credit and financial analysis, and support the execution of structured finance transactions across regional markets.

The role requires strong numeracy, analytical ability, and excellent communication. Candidates should have 2–3 years of credit experience and a degree in Accounting and Finance, CFA, CA or MBA.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of credit and financial analysis experience.
• A good degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance, CFA, CA or MBA.
• Some security documentation experience would be desirable.
• Good working knowledge, understanding of companies listed on regional stock exchanges; M&A knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry and company research, performs financial analysis on multiple asset classes (e.g. listed shares, bonds, derivatives, structured products, properties) as collateral.
• Monitors, reviews and analyses regional capital market activities and corporate actions (IPO, M&A, rights issue, privatisation, etc.).
• Develops and prepares client presentation materials, mandate letters and termsheets.
• Assists in managing day-to-day execution of structured finance transactions.
• Any other project or ad-hoc responsibilities that may be assigned by management.

Who are we looking for?

• Numerate, analytical, well organised, able to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Teamplayer, highly adaptable to a cross-cultural environment and workingclosely with a multitude of professionals from various nationalities
• Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for this role due to regional coverage
• At least 2-3 years of credit and financial analysis experience, preferably from a reputable financial institution
• A good degree, preferably in Accounting and Finance, CFA, CA or MBA, from a reputable university
• Some security documentation experience would be desirable
• Goodworking knowledge, understanding of companies listed on the regionalstock exchanges and candidates with M4A would be advantageous
