The role involves overseeing day-to-day project operations, liaising with schools and collaborators, conducting literature reviews, preparing policy reports, and handling ethics documents as well as participant recruitment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to collect and analyze data.
• Experience with qualitative research methods.
• Willing to travel to school sites for data collection.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Nvivo experience.
• Publication experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out research-related administrative tasks such as purchase of materials/equipment.
• Carry any other duties as required by the Principal Investigator.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of research project on vertical leadership development for school leadership professional development

Job Requirements

• Masters in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field from University of good standing.
• Possess excellent communication skills with good command of the English language to perform literature reviews and write progress reports.
• Self-motivator, able to work independently to collect data, analyse data, and communicate findings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with Nvivo software.
• Willing to travel to school sites for data collection.
• Excellent organizational skills and able to work within tight deadlines.
• Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed.
• Prior experience with qualitative research methods
• Prior teaching experience at MOE schools is a bonus.
• Prior experience with academic publication processes
• Good knowledge of qualitative research methods, and knowledge/appreciation for leadership and management theories.
