National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore invites applications for a Research Associate on a 10-month contract at the Singapore Centre for Character and Citizenship Education, NIE. The project DREAMS explores adolescent development and educational trajectories.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or related social science discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant research experience will be considered
• Proficiency in using statistical software package (e.g., R, Mplus)
• Experience with survey data collection and data management workflows.
• Experience with psychometric and predictive statistical analysis such as confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modelling and longitudinal analysis
• Possess strong interpersonal communication, academic writing and language skills
• Proactive and capable of managing tasks independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Data management, processing and advanced data analysis, including qualitative components
• Support research project deliverables such as reports, research dissemination, publications, database organisation
• Assist with the responsibilities and deliverables of the larger research programme
• Conduct literature reviews proactively or as assigned by the PI / Co-PIs.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Principal Investigator / Co-PIs
