Job summary

National Institute of Education in Singapore invites candidates for a Research Associate on a 10-month contract to join the DREAMS project team. The appointee will support data management, analysis and reporting within a diverse educational research programme.

The role requires a Master’s degree in psychology, sociology or related fields, strong data skills (R/Mplus) and experience with surveys, psychometrics and longitudinal analyses. Collaboration and independent work are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Sociology or related social science required.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant research experience will be considered for entry.
• Proficiency in statistical software (R, Mplus) and data management workflows is essential.
• Experience with survey data collection and psychometric/predictive analyses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data management, processing and advanced data analysis (including qualitative components).
• Support deliverables: reports, dissemination, publications, and database organization.
• Contribute to responsibilities of the larger research programme.
• Conduct literature reviews as assigned by PI/Co-PIs.
• Perform other duties as required by the PI/Co-PIs.
