Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in the project Integrative Adolescence Research Programme 2.0 within the Department of Paediatrics, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

The appointee will support the PI with data cleaning, statistical analyses, cohort management, and manuscript preparation, and will contribute to study design and analytical strategies for the project.

Qualifications

• PhD in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis and manuscript preparation.
• Experience with cohort studies and grant writing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform data cleaning, management, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and consistency of datasets.
• Assist PI in managing research and administrative matters of the research cohorts under the PI.
• Conduct statistical analyses using appropriate methodologies to support research objectives.
• Contribute to the writing, editing, and publication of manuscripts in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
• Assist the Principal Investigator in grant proposal development, including literature review, methodological design, and drafting of grant applications.
• Prepare and deliver presentations of research findings for internal meetings, conferences, and other academic platforms.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary research teams across different domains.
• Maintain proper documentation of analytical workflows and research outputs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, incidental to the work described above.
