Job summary

Temasek Laboratories@NTU seeks a Research Assistant with a background in semiconductor laser diodes and photonics to support experimental work and documentation. You will assist in fabrication, characterization, and analysis of laser diodes, manage lab operations, and help prepare proposals, reports, and publications.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Good writing skills for proposals, reports and publications in academic journals.

Responsibilities

To assist in research operations, including procurement of laboratory supplies, experimental setup, literature review, evaluation of product specifications, and establishment of safe work processes.
To ensure proper conduct and documentation of experiments in consultation with the project leader.
To assist in fabrication, characterization and analysis of laser diodes.
To support project-related activities, including events, publications, proposal preparation, planning, monitoring, and reporting, as required.
