Job description

Temasek Laboratories@NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Assistant who has a research background on semiconductor laser diode / semiconductor photonics / semiconductor material. The staff will be involved in semiconductor laser diode related project.

Key Responsibilities

• To assist in research operations, including the procurement of laboratory supplies, experimental setup, literature review, evaluation of product specifications, and establishment of safe work processes.
• To ensure proper conduct and documentation of experiments in consultation with the project leader.
• To assist in fabrication, characterization and analysis of laser diodes.
• To support project-related activities, including events, publications, proposal preparation, planning, monitoring, and reporting, as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Material Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Good writing skills for writing proposals, reports and publications in good academic journals.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
