Job summary

National University of Singapore is seeking a Research Assistant (ALCNS) to support a clinical research project within the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies. The appointment runs for one year from 1 September 2026 with possible extension.

The role involves coordinating meetings, assisting in ethics processes, participant recruitment, data collection and analyses, and preparing reports or manuscripts. English proficiency and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health science with good results.
• Honours degree preferred.
• Experience in conducting research.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, proactive and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with data analysis software (SPSS, Jamovi, R).
• Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual ability (e.g. Mandarin/Malay/Tamil) preferred for participant communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general management and provide administrative support to the project.
• Handle day-to-day operations at study sites, assist with ethics applications, recruitment, intervention delivery, data collection and follow-up.
• Conduct literature reviews and/or systematic reviews.
• Perform data entry and data analyses.
• Prepare progress reports and manuscripts for the project.
• Maintain professional conduct and records per policies and procedures.
• Work on additional tasks as assigned.
