Job summary

SALT TALENT SEARCH PTE. LTD. is seeking a Data Analyst in Singapore for a renewable contract.

The role focuses on transforming data into insights to guide business decisions and improve performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders across regions, building dashboards and recurring reports while ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in data analysis or BI, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Min. 2yrs experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Experience in a complex, global B2B organization, supporting stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools, including Power BI and Tableau.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment, collaborating effectively via email, messaging platforms and video conferencing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex dataset and translate findings into actionable business insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Experience with SQL and data extraction tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Analyse data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business objectives and informed decision-making.
• Ad Hoc Reporting and Visualization: Produce ad hoc analyses, reports, dashboards and presentations that effectively communicate findings, recommendations and business performance to stakeholders.
• Scheduled Reporting: Produce, validate and distribute recurring reports in line with agreed schedules, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and automation.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into reporting solutions, and communicate insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Data Governance and Quality: Support data governance activities by conducting data quality audits, identifying anomalies, and recommending corrective actions to improve data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
