Job summary

EDP APAC seeks a Project Engineer to manage construction from start to COD, ensuring schedule, cost, and HSE compliance. You will support planning, tracking, and reporting while coordinating site activities and stakeholders across renewable energy projects.

Requirements include a degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, 2+ years in EPC/Construction, and renewable energy exposure. You will review drawings, manage contractors, and drive project efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of working experience in EPC, Energy, Power or Construction.
• Prior renewable energy or construction industry experience, particularly solar preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings (single-line diagrams and civil layouts).
• Sound understanding of PV system components and ability to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction of assigned projects from start of construction to COD.
• Support the Project Manager in project planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise site activities to ensure design, quality and safety compliance.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets and escalate deviations timely.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction methodologies for accuracy.
• Prepare technical submissions, site reports and project documentation.
• Manage contractors and third-party service providers to ensure delivery on schedule.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify gaps in workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
