About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and results-driven Renewable Energy Project Manager to oversee the planning, installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end solar project activities, coordinating engineering teams, liaising with suppliers and external partners, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and according to technical specifications and agreed timelines. The role will also involve managing project budgets, monitoring site progress, maintaining project documentation and providing technical and commercial support throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee solar PV and renewable energy projects from initial planning through installation and final completion.


• Coordinate installation, testing and commissioning activities with engineering and site teams.


• Develop, monitor and update project schedules, budgets and critical milestones.


• Coordinate regulatory approvals, project permits and relevant documentation.


• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, clients and business partners.


• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure work quality.


• Ensure all project activities comply with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and relevant electrical safety standards.


• Identify project risks, technical challenges and potential delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions.


• Monitor project costs, resource allocation and equipment requirements.


• Maintain accurate project records, technical reports, installation documentation and handover procedures.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.


• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in project management, engineering or solar PV system installation.


• Strong technical understanding of solar photovoltaic systems, electrical installations and renewable energy technologies.


• Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting and site coordination.


• Familiarity with Singapore WSH regulations and relevant electrical safety requirements.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.


• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.


• Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers and engineering teams.


• Proactive, dependable and able to work independently as well as within a team.
