You will own commercial and cost management across live construction projects, ensuring accurate measurement, timely progress claims, proper valuation of variations, and delivery within budget. Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Familiarity with measurement and cost management tools

Responsibilities

• Manage full post-contract commercial function for assigned projects from award to final account
• Prepare, submit and follow up on monthly progress claims and payment responses
• Measure and value completed works and remeasure provisional quantities
• Price, negotiate and agree variations, site instructions and claims
• Administer subcontractor and supplier packages and final accounts
• Monitor project cost against budget and produce monthly cost reports
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project team to resolve commercial issues
• Support project close-out, retention recovery and final account agreement
• Feed actual project cost data back into tender/estimating database
