Job summary

Binance is seeking a Market Data Lead to build and guide the TradFi data function. You will own strategy, sourcing, licensing, and integration of exchange and vendor data for real-time feeds, reference, and historical data.

You will partner with product, legal, and finance across regions to scale data capabilities and govern data quality, entitlements, and usage policies. The role requires global vendor relationships and leadership in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Economics, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6–10 years in market data or trading-technology at a brokerage, exchange, fintech or data vendor.
• Deep knowledge of market data ecosystem, licensing, and compliance processes.
• Hands-on experience with TradFi assets and multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the market data strategy and roadmap for TradFi products.
• Lead sourcing, licensing agreements, renewals, and data spend with exchanges and vendors.
• Oversee end-to-end data integration including onboarding, normalization, and distribution.
• Build governance for data lifecycle, entitlements, quality, lineage, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product, legal, and compliance on licensing and redistribution terms.
• Maintain a live view of market data landscape, pricing, and partnerships.
• Build and mentor a market data team and coordinate with product/engineering.
• Translate exchange conventions for crypto-native teams.
