Job summary

SearchApi in Singapore is seeking an engineering manager to own end-to-end delivery so the founder can step out of the day-to-day loop. You will run cadences, track projects, surface risk early, and be the first escalation point when something breaks.

You will lead through clear writing and disciplined decision making, growing Managers of One into a high‑performing small team, coaching delivery, and shipping reliable software to customers from a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small, high-output engineering teams.
• Incident command experience.
• Track record of hiring at a high bar.

Responsibilities

• Run the cadences: planning, standups, and retros.
• Track everything and surface risk before it becomes a fire.
• Own delivery metrics: cycle time, review latency, reliability.
• Coordinate incidents and run blameless RCAs that drive change.
• Grow the team: 1:1s, coaching, and a hiring pipeline with a high bar.
