Job summary

Brown Consulting Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Junior Civil/Structural Engineer to coordinate and prepare detailed design documentation for projects and ensure compliance with requirements.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external clients to facilitate project delivery, liaise with authorities for approvals, and support staff to enhance productivity while following project procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of relevant civil or structural engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare detailed design documentation for civil and structural engineering projects to meet project requirements.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and external clients to facilitate project collaboration.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary consultants and appointed contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Liaise with local authorities to facilitate design approvals and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support and coordinate office staff to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
• Follow established procedures and instructions from project leads to perform design tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to project quality system requirements as defined in the Project Quality Plan and promptly report any non-conformances to project leads.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to achieve project goals and resolve conflicts in a dynamic work environment.
• Utilize computer applications proficiently to support design and project documentation tasks.
