Job summary

Fusion Civil Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a Civil & Structural Design Engineer in Singapore to contribute from structural analysis and design development through to authority submissions and construction.

Join a Singapore-based consultancy offering ownership of design tasks, collaboration with a Professional Engineer, and exposure to buildings, A&A, ERSS, temporary works and industrial projects. Five-day week with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• At least three years of civil/structural design experience.
• Experience with Singapore projects or in a Singapore consultancy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design for buildings, A&A works, ERSS, temporary works and other Civil & Structural projects.
• Prepare design calculations, structural models, sketches and engineering reports.
• Develop safe, practical and buildable engineering solutions.
• Support BCA and other authority submissions, including responses to technical comments.
• Review structural drawings to ensure they are consistent with the approved design and calculations.
• Coordinate technical information with architects, M&E consultants, contractors, clients and other project stakeholders.
• Attend selected technical meetings, site inspections and construction-stage discussions.
• Review contractor submissions, RFIs and site issues within your assigned scope.
• Identify missing information, coordination concerns and design risks early.
• Work with the Professional Engineer and project team to resolve design and construction issues.
