Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in ML/CS/Math/Statistics; exceptional Bachelor's candidates with demonstrable research output will be considered.
• 0–5 years of research or industry experience in ML/AI; strong academic lab or research internship experience equally valued.
• Deep understanding of transformer architectures, LLM pretraining dynamics, and post-training methodology incl. RLHF, RLVR-based reasoning, alignment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original research in generative AI and LLMs applied to crypto and finance, focusing on reasoning under market uncertainty and multi-agent coordination.
• Design and execute rigorous experiments with hypotheses, ablations, and robust conclusions.
• Develop post-training methodologies and evaluation frameworks for LLMs in crypto contexts, including chain-of-thought quality and agent decision consistency.
• Research test-time scaling techniques (reward models, self-consistency, MCTS-based planning) for fast market decisions.
• Track NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP developments and identify opportunities to apply techniques at Binance.
