Job summary

The Land Transport Authority seeks a DOMA to bridge religious scholarship with the Muslim community, working from MUIS HQ and district offices. You will support Mosque Religious Officers in understanding and applying religious guidance, while feeding ground perspectives into RCG programs.

You will engage with MROs and mosques to gather insights, mentor staff, and help develop religious guidance aligned with district CRL priorities.

Qualifications

Tertiary education is required in any related field.
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in MUIS/MUIS-vested entities or mosques or other Islamic institutions.
Must currently hold ARS - Tier 1 certification.
Experience in programme planning, religious advisory, or community engagement.
Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and mentoring skills.
Independent worker and able to work under pressure.
Successful candidate will be appointed on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

Advise MROs on applying religious guidance (fatwa, Irsyad) issued by OOM.
Assist AD RCG with scholarly consultations and engagements with RPD.
Engage mosque communities to understand concerns and needs for guidance.
Develop and socialise religious guidance reflecting ground realities.
Support mentoring and development initiatives for MROs with RTD and district office.
