The District Office of Mufti Associate (DOMA) is a religious officer within the Religious Content & Guidance (RCG) unit, serving as a vital connection between religious scholarship and the lived realities of the Muslim community.

Based at MUIS HQ and the district, the DOMA supports Mosque Religious Officers (MROs) in understanding and applying religious guidance, while bringing ground perspectives into RCG.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in any related field.
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in MUIS/MUIS-vested entities or mosques or other Islamic institutions.
• Must currently hold ARS – Tier 1 certification.
• Experience in programme planning, religious advisory, or community engagement.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and mentoring skills.
• Independent worker and able to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Religious scholarship, guidance and advisory to mosque communities and MROs.
• Ground engagement and socio-religious synthesis with district initiatives.
• MRO capability development and mentoring, including Usrah sessions.
• District religious content integration with CRL priorities.
• Religious knowledge development and institutional learning with RPD.
