Job summary

Darul Ghufran Mosque is seeking a Mosque Religious Officer to support youth engagement, programme delivery, and outreach initiatives within a mosque setting. The role involves planning and facilitating youth programmes, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting youth development initiatives.

The candidate will engage youth, collaborate with schools and partners, and assist in running Fityan Academy programmes while contributing to events and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Islamic Studies or related field is advantageous.
• Engage youth with professionalism, empathy and maturity.
• Able to facilitate youth programmes and discussions independently.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English and/or Malay.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team.
• Familiar with digital platforms and social media.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Passionate about supporting community programmes and contributing to meaningful, purpose-driven work in a mosque setting.
