Job summary

Brighton College (Singapore) is seeking a Relief Teacher Assistant to support pupils under the guidance of the class teacher and Deputy Head. The role focuses on promoting Mandarin language learning in a dual-language setting and assisting with individual or small group work.

You will help with administrative tasks, IEP documentation, and contribute to CCAs while ensuring pupil well-being and safety in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mandarin required for supporting and promoting Mandarin language learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a learning environment under the direction of the class teacher and deputy head.
• Promote Mandarin language learning within the dual-language environment.
• Follow agreed programmes to support progress toward targets.
• Contribute to pupils’ physical, emotional and social development.
• Support staff with administrative tasks (photocopying, filing, records).
• Make notes in IEP books for children.
• Contribute to the school's CCAs programme.
• Assist with safe administration of school transport.
• Undertake other duties as delegated by management.
