Job summary

Roche in Singapore seeks an engineering professional to support the life cycle management of site equipment, facilities and utility systems. Emphasis on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement within a biopharma manufacturing setting.

You will apply predictive maintenance, data analysis, FMEA, RCA, and Lean tools to optimize performance, uptime and cost, while collaborating with Maintenance, Quality, Technology and Manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering with knowledge of operation & maintenance of production & utilities systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP concepts and guidelines.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical production facility is a plus.
• Knowledge of Reliability Management systems and various Predictive Maintenance methods preferred.
• Knowledge of FMEA, RCA, 5S, Lean Six Sigma methodologies preferred.
• Demonstrated good organizational and time utilization skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Health & Environment: Comply with SHE requirements and report hazards.
• Observe security measures and report suspicious activities.
• Support a strong safety culture and safe task execution.
• Lean Production System: Embody Lean tools for continuous improvement.
• Reliability Engineering: Support reliability improvement strategy.
• Analyze plant reliability and downtime data with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in preventive & predictive maintenance optimization for equipment and utility systems.
• Support data analysis for predictive maintenance methods such as oil analysis, thermography, vibration analysis.
• Assist with reliability tools, equipment data, predictive technologies and spare parts evaluation.
• Assist root cause analysis of reliability defects and verify solution effectiveness.
• Support FMEA on process and utility equipment and systems.
• Identify trends and make data-driven recommendations.
• Optimize performance and cost-effectiveness of reliability programs.
• Review maintenance practices and implement changes to increase uptime.
• Document system reliability issues and support design change evaluations.
• Assist obsolescence tracking and management.
• Assist with new equipment purchase specs and installation qualification criteria.
• Provide input for Asset Management Strategy and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Assist MRO in retention and archival of forms and documentation.
• Complete required in-house training and perform other duties as directed.
