The Relationship Management Assistant supports Relationship Managers in delivering high-quality day-to-day servicing for private wealth clients. The role focuses on portfolio administration, client communications, account documentation maintenance and trade execution support, ensuring all activity is completed accurately, on time and in line with internal policies and applicable regulations. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and operations and compliance teams to provide seamless client experience, while also contributing to process improvements and broader client service initiatives.

What you'll do
- Support Relationship Managers to manage clients’ portfolios in line with their investment wishes, our rules and regulations, whilst developing relationships of trust.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients; respond to all enquiries in a timely manner and maintain an accurate record of responses and actions taken.
- Handle client administration promptly and accurately, including cash transfer requests, monitoring overdrafts and follow-ups on outstanding items.
- Set up accounts for new clients, coordinate onboarding documentation and arrange client meetings (including preparation of meeting materials where required).
- Create and process cash-transfer requests, liaising with Relationship Managers and adhering to regulatory and internal controls to ensure client instructions are met.
- Review clients’ transaction statements, monitor outstanding deals/settlements and escalated or report errors and discrepancies for resolution.
- Support ongoing account maintenance (including static data updates, mandates and account documentation) in accordance with procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Help to ensure client accounts remain compliant, including supporting periodic reviews, documentation refreshes and adherence to suitability and conduct requirements.
- Work closely with operations and related internal teams to ensure smooth execution and a consistent client experience across the service chain.
- Support assessment of portfolio suitability and performance; assist in preparing investment proposals and presentation materials for client discussions.
- Execute trades in client portfolios in line with client instructions, approved investment recommendations and relevant dealing controls (as applicable to the role and permissions).
- Manage daily BAU tasks alongside longer-term projects with varying deadlines, prioritising effectively while responding to incoming client and internal enquiries.
- Maintain and update product, market and regulatory knowledge through continual professional development (CPD).
- Contribute to business-wide client service and internal process committees as required; build a strong internal network and develop an understanding of key client service themes and risks.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Minimum 5 years’ experiencein client servicing, client administration or operations within private wealth, asset management, private banking or a related financial services environment.
- Relevant regulatory licences and certifications applicable to Singapore wealth management advisory (e.g., CMFAS modules and any other required local credentials); CACS Paper 1 and 2 desirable where relevant.
- Strong working knowledge of investment products and portfolio administration (e.g., equities, funds, bonds), with a good understanding of control processes and operational risk.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance expectations relevant to client accounts (e.g., KYC/AML, suitability, conduct and documentation standards), with high attention to detail.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work effectively with clients, Relationship Managers and operations teams under time pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and proficiency with common office systems and client/portfolio platforms (e.g., CRM and portfolio/transaction systems), with a continuous improvement mindset.
