Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in any related field.
• Candidates with prior experience in healthcare, rehabilitation or patient service will be advantageous.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in setting up patients and preparing treatment areas.
• Support patients during therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Assist with fabrication of orthoses and rehabilitation devices as required.
• Prepare, retrieve, file and maintain patient records accurately.
• Coordinate patient transport and portering within the department.
• Maintain a clean, safe therapy environment and assist with basic cleaning duties.
• Handle calls and general enquiries, relay messages accurately.
• Maintain inventory lists and conduct regular checks of equipment and supplies.
• Perform basic administrative duties including photocopying, binding, and filing.
• Data entry and retrieval using hospital systems and programmes.
• Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
