Job summary

National University Hospital (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support therapists in clinical, administrative and technical duties. You will help set up patients on equipment and assist with therapeutic activities and orthosis fabrication.

The role requires a service-oriented mindset, good communication, and teamwork. You will also help maintain a clean therapy area and coordinate patient transport as needed.

Qualifications

• GCE A level or ITE Higher NITEC or 2 years relevant experience.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Service oriented and customer focused.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team worker with a pleasant and cheerful personality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the therapist in setting up patients on therapeutic equipment.
• Assist the therapist in setting up/supervising/assisting patients in the performance of therapeutic activities/exercises.
• Assist the therapist in the fabrication of orthosis/devices necessary for rehabilitation.
• Tidy therapy area and assist with cleaning duties.
• Coordinate portering of patients to and from the department for therapy as needed.
