Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a capable Therapy Assistant to support physiotherapy and occupational therapy care plans, assist with lifting and transfers, attend to clients’ needs, and help maintain a safe, well-equipped therapy environment.

You will document sessions daily, participate in internal and external centre events, assist in music therapy sessions, transport clients when required, and cooperate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school education, WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services, NITEC in Therapy Services or equivalent.
• Basic experience learning or playing musical instruments is required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• BCLS and AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physiotherapy care plans as assigned by the Physiotherapist.
• Carry out occupational therapy care plans as assigned by the Occupational Therapist.
• Attend to clients' needs and assist with lifting and transferring clients where necessary.
• Report any abnormalities observed in clients.
• Record and document clients' therapy sessions daily.
• Handle rehabilitative equipment properly.
• Maintain rehabilitative equipment and report any faults to the Operations Executive and Physiotherapist.
• Ensure a safe environment for clients to perform therapy activities.
• Encourage clients to participate in activities and programmes.
• Participate in internal or external centre events as required.
• Accompany clients on transport when required.
• Assist in music therapy sessions.
