Job summary

NTUC Health Co-operative Limited is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support therapists in delivering safe treatments and guiding residents through exercises. You will help transport residents, set up therapy equipment, and assist in both individual and group activities under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Google Suite applications.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Therapist or exercise trainer with therapy treatments or fitness programmes.
• Transport residents safely to and from treatment areas, secure them into or onto therapy equipment.
• Motivate and assist residents/clients to practice exercises and functional activities under broad supervision.
• Conduct group exercises such as circuit training or Occupational Therapy (OT) groups.
• Observe clients during treatment to note responses and progress.
• Report progress to a Therapist or Exercise Trainer for quality care improvement.
• Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the therapy area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
• Ensure adequate stock of rehabilitation supplies and expendables for the department.
