Job summary

JAC Recruitment seeks a Regulatory Reporting & Accountant to join a banking team in Singapore. The role covers MAS regulatory reporting, accounting, and back-office activities across compliance, tax, and financial statements.

The candidate will prepare MAS reports, monitor compliance, maintain procedures, and support treasury and settlement operations while ensuring accuracy and timely submissions within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably within a wholesale banking environment.
• Good understanding of MAS regulatory reporting requirements, including MAS 610 and MAS 649.
• Knowledge of corporate lending operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit MAS regulatory reports, surveys, and other regulatory filings in an accurate and timely manner.
• Monitor daily regulatory compliance requirements and prepare compliance summary reports.
• Maintain reporting documentation, procedural records, and support the implementation of new regulatory requirements.
• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including receivables, payables, accruals, prepayments, and maintenance of accounting records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, GST returns, tax schedules, and DOS surveys.
• Process and support various back-office operations, including treasury transactions, payment and settlement activities, loan administration, securities and custody operations, and bank reconciliations.
• Update and maintain operational procedures and manuals to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
