Job summary

JOINTHIRE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced regulatory reporting professional for a core bank operations role in Singapore. You will manage MAS reports, daily compliance summaries, and documentation while supporting accounting and tax tasks.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a wholesale banking environment, a tertiary degree in Banking/Finance/Accounting, and strong MS Office skills. On-site in Raffles Place. AWS and a variable bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of similar experience in a wholesale bank.
• At least a tertiary degree, preferably in Banking, Finance or Accounting.
• Good knowledge of MAS regulatory reports (610, 649, etc.) and corporate loans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Reporting: Prepare MAS and other regulatory reports (surveys).
• Prepare and monitor daily regulatory compliance summaries.
• Maintain documentation for reporting processes.
• Assist in changes from new regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks: receivables, payables, accruals, prepayments.
• Prepare Financial Statements and assist in GST/tax schedules.
• Assist in DOS surveys and update procedural manuals.
• Process treasury transactions and settlements (SWIFT, FAST, GIRO).
• Perform bank reconciliation and other back-office duties.
