Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is recruiting for a banking regulatory reporting and accounting role based in Singapore. You will prepare MAS reports, maintain accounting systems, and handle back-office processing to ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least four years in wholesale banking, a tertiary degree in banking, finance, or accounting, and strong Excel skills. You will contribute to financial statements, tax work, and treasury operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years working experience, preferably in a wholesale bank.
• Tertiary degree, preferably in Banking, finance or accounting.
• Good knowledge of MAS regulatory reports (610, 649 etc) and corporate loans.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare all MAS and other regulatory reports (including surveys).
• Prepare and monitor daily regulatory compliance summary.
• Maintain documentation for reporting processes.
• Assist in managing changes arising from new regulatory requirements and ensure timely implementation.
• Day-to-day accounting including receivables, payables, accruals and prepayments.
• Maintenance of accounting system and manual standing data.
• Preparation of Financial Statements.
• Assist in preparation of GST and tax returns and schedules.
• Process treasury transactions (FX, money market, derivatives, bonds).
• Payment & Settlement Operations (e.g., SWIFT, FAST, GIRO, wire transfers).
