Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks a Legal Counsel to join its Vehicles (Regulation and Licensing) Division. The appointee will provide legal services on emerging land transport matters including autonomous vehicles, road pricing, active mobility, and point-to-point transport, delivering legally sound solutions.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Law.
Must be a "Qualified Person" under the Legal Profession Act or called to the Singapore Bar.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

Provide legal services concerning emerging land transport matters, including regulation and development of autonomous vehicles, next-generation road pricing, active mobility, and point-to-point passenger transport.
Research and render legal advice, draft contracts and other legal documents, and advise on regulatory risks and obligations.
Collaborate with policy and operations divisions during policy formulation to ensure legally sound solutions.
