Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks a Deputy/Assistant Manager to help craft the regulatory framework for autonomous vehicles as Singapore scales AV deployment. You will draft core legislation and shape the operational infrastructure—from authorisation workflows to data governance—while coordinating with cross‑sector stakeholders.

You will contribute to regulatory impact assessments, monitor international developments, and present policy options to leadership under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years substantive experience in regulatory affairs, policy development, or technology governance.
• Experience designing administrative processes such as licensing regimes, permit systems, or compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop AV legislation and policy foundations to enable safe autonomous operations.
• Design and oversee the authorisation workflow for AV operators, including data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Engage with industry, academia and international partners to translate perspectives into policy recommendations.
