Job summary

Google Singapore is recruiting a Regulatory Counsel, Content, to join a Global team that interprets laws and engages with regulators to address evolving technology and compliance challenges. You will partner with stakeholders across the company to interpret requirements and communicate compliant approaches.

The role focuses on advising product and engineering teams, managing regulator interactions, and delivering practical, lawful guidance in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• JD, LLB, or equivalent practical experience.
• Admitted to the bar and in good standing or authorized to practice law in the posting jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laws and compliance obligations for Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
• Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to mitigate risk.
• Manage regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness.
• Collaborate with global Content team and regulatory counterparts to support defensible positions.
