Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction (Singapore or bar admission with in-house status).
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firm.
• Experience engaging with regulators and regulatory authorities.
• Ability to translate laws into compliance requirements for product, engineering, and business teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laws and compliance obligations for Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to mitigate risk.
• Manage discussions, negotiations, and disclosures with government bodies and regulators.
• Collaborate with the global Content team and regulatory counterparts to support defensible compliance positions.
• Work with stakeholders to deliver engagement and ensure regulatory readiness.

Preferred qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in legal, regulatory, or corporate compliance.
• Experience engaging with regulators, including state attorneys general, federal trade commission, department of justice, and global data protection or consumer protection authorities.
• Experience in developing and evaluating programs ensuring products comply with laws, regulations, and external commitment.
• Understanding of complex technical issues within fast-paced technology companies to provide actionable, precise legal guidance on product design and safety.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and investigative skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and partnering effectively with cross-functional teams to drive integrity.

Responsibilities

• Interpret laws and other compliance obligations into requirements for Compliance, Business, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Provide legal advice on compliance programs and policies to help mitigate risk.
• Manage government and regulator discussions, negotiations, and disclosures on compliance readiness efforts.
• Collaborate efectively with global Content team and RA counterparts to support driving defensible compliance positions, counsel launches, build effective programs and coherent engagement programs.
• Work with Legal, RCI and Policy stakeholders to deliver engagement and compliance.
