Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency, seeks candidates to join the Building Plan Division in the Centralised Services Department. You will review plan submissions for sanitary, sewerage, drainage, and water service works to safeguard water resources and public health.

Responsibilities include collaboration with PUB departments and other agencies, providing public consultations, and conducting industry briefings on submission and regulatory requirements. A 2-year contract is possible.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental).
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review and process submissions by QPs/LPs for sanitary, sewerage, drainage and water service installations.
• Collaborate with PUB departments and other agencies on submissions.
• Provide public consultations to QPs/LPs and inter-agency groups on PUB requirements.
• Conduct briefings to educate the industry on submission requirements and regulatory policies.
• Review work processes to improve regulatory outcomes and compliance checking.
• Address public enquiries (telephone/email) related to plan submissions.
