Job summary

GovTech seeks a detail-oriented engineer to join the Building Plan review team within PUB's framework. You will assess submissions from QPs/LPs for sanitary, drainage and water services, coordinating with agencies and providing guidance to stakeholders on regulatory requirements.

The role requires a degree in engineering, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Office tools. A two-year contract is offered with renewal depending on performance and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review and process submissions by QPs/LPs for sanitary, sewerage, drainage and water service installations
• Collaborate with PUB departments and other agencies for submissions review
• Provide public consultations to QPs/LPs and inter-agency groups on PUB requirements
• Conduct briefings to educate industry on building plan submission requirements and regulatory rules
• Review work processes to improve regulatory outcomes and compliance
• Address public inquiries related to plan submissions (phone/email)
