Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Operations Regional Lead to oversee regional security operations, focusing on physical access and video security systems. You will coordinate with Facilities Management to develop innovative security strategies, assess risks, and respond to incidents while balancing customer service excellence.

The role requires deep expertise in security technology, strong project management skills and the ability to translate complex technical issues for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience deploying and supporting physical security technologies including access control and video management systems.
• Experience deploying, administering and supporting physical security technologies with increasing scope and responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a security context.
• Ability to engage with system administrators, field technicians and system designers.

Responsibilities

• Manage regionally based vendor operations for technical operations, credential management and physical access operations.
• Build relationships with partners to ensure quality customer support and timely issue resolution.
• Scope, plan and manage data-driven projects in collaboration with GSRS stakeholders.
• Conduct system audits and communicate findings with stakeholders using data-driven storytelling.
