Job summary

OpenAI seeks a regional security technology owner to design, operate, and improve APAC physical security systems across offices, labs, and data centers. You will work with CorpSec, Workplace, IT, and external vendors to ensure reliable access control, video systems, and integrations.

The role emphasizes deep knowledge of Windows OS/Servers, networking, and system integration, with a focus on fast issue resolution and scalable deployments across APAC.

Qualifications

• Deep subject matter expertise in Windows OS/Servers, networking and switching, and systems integration support.

Responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day technical support and administration for APAC physical security systems, including access control and video management.
• Support new office builds by reviewing designs, coordinating vendors, validating readiness, and ensuring clean turnover.
• Troubleshoot across Genetec, Windows OS/Servers, databases, networking, integrations, and field hardware.
• Collaborate with IT/NetEng on connectivity, identity, infrastructure, firewall, VLAN, switch configuration, IP schema, routing, and device connectivity dependencies.
• Support integrations between physical security systems and enterprise systems, including identity and monitoring workflows.
• Create and maintain drawings, site documentation, operating procedures, and training materials for admins and end users.
• Improve standards, documentation, monitoring, vendor handoffs, and repeatable support practices.
